We have stretched out our series of “daily” devotions in Romans for several months. The first was written on January 1st, in what was intended to be about a month long journey. A lot of things have happened in life since we started, including the birth of our third child Stephen. Since he came along, these devotions have not exactly been “daily”, as you may have observed.

One way or the other, we came through the book learning a lot, and reviewing some important passages. The entire Romans series can be downloaded in PDF format from our Catalog. We have now made our way through sixteen books, and will be headed back to the Old Testament for a study in Exodus next week.

We missed a few days of study, and skipped over several more chapters than usual in Joshua. We missed simply because I was much more busy than usual this month, and we skipped passages (near the end of the book) because they focused primarily on the dividing of the land. While there are some rich truths to be taught from the division passages, they take more time to develop than is allowed in our one-paragraph format. In any event, this is a wonderful book, that I hope was of much help to us. Download the entire series from our Catalog.

Titus is a short and powerful book. We could have likely studied it for many more days, never exhausting the important themes. While I would encourage you to download our short, four devotion series from the Catalog page, I would also recommend another complete reading of the passage. Tomorrow we will begin a much longer study in the Old Testament book of Joshua.

The stories of the early church in Acts are both informative and inspiring. They prompt us to boldness and initiative in our witnessing, challenge us to greater commitment, and remind us of the potential for persecution in the world. Overall, I find it to be one of the most important books in the New Testament. If you would like to download our entire Acts series of devotions, just visit our Catalog page and click the link. I am glad to finally be finished with the long book of Genesis. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. There are some terrific lessons to be learned within the book, and I only hope the journey day by day helped us to learn them. The full text of every Genesis entry is now available via PDF download on our Catalog page. We pick up another leftover series in Acts tomorrow, starting our reading in chapter 15.

I hope you had the opportunity to follow our daily devotions from the book of Ephesians over the past ten days. Tomorrow we will pick up a series in Genesis, which we began, but were unable to complete several months ago. At the end of each book, I will post a PDF download containing every entry in the series. It will allow us time to reflect, and serve as a fitting end to the study. Tomorrow I will also begin work on a separate page containing all of our previous completed series.
